“Mark Sealey of GHE has been great in supporting and developing my idea to provide holidays for front line key workers.
It occurred to me that many of the holiday properties on his site (mine included) would otherwise be empty, so why not give those having a stressful and difficult time in the health care sector the prospect of a free and well deserved holiday.
From my initial suggestion to promoting the scheme on GHE and then via My Travel Pledge, to matching applications to the appropriate home owners, Mark has worked hard at making the scheme work. He now has thousands of applications or nominations for this scheme. He is continuing to match these to suitable properties.
Hope has been in short supply lately but this is what this arrangements gives these deserving people!”
